Your research subscription
We use your email address and chosen topics to send the research updates you request. You can choose Feline urinary health, Rabbit digestive health and New research launches, in any combination.
The first two topics cover relevant guides, research and substantive evidence updates. New research launches covers new projects and questions across species. Research updates are selected using your current topic choices.
Research subscriptions are separate from product promotions. Subscribing to research updates does not sign you up for product promotions. Our guides, research and blank vet-visit record remain free to use without subscribing.
Signup and confirmation
The signup form asks for your email address and research-topic choices. A link from a guide or research page may suggest a topic; you can change the visible selection before submitting. Opening a page or selecting a topic alone does not subscribe you.
After submitting the form, use the link in the confirmation email to confirm your address. Submitting the form and confirming your email are separate steps. Research messages use the sender MSRA Lab <federico@msralab.com>.
Information used to manage updates
We use your email address, topic choices, confirmation and subscription status to maintain the list, select the relevant audience and handle subscription requests. Our email provider, Kit, receives the submitted form information and provides subscription storage, confirmation, delivery and preference management.
Kit may also process technical information and delivery, email-open or link-click activity, as applicable to its service and the emails sent. Open and click records can be affected by mail apps and automated security checks; they do not reliably establish that a person read or clicked a message.
Kit describes its processing of newsletter-subscriber information in its Data Processing Addendum. Its general Privacy Policy covers its own service interactions and directs readers to that addendum for newsletter-subscriber processing.
The subscription form does not ask for your pet's symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, clinical records or a completed vet-visit record. Please do not submit that information for a mailing-list signup. Following a research topic expresses an interest; it is not a statement about your or your pet's health.
Change topics or unsubscribe
Use Update your profile in the email footer to change your research-topic preferences. Select or deselect topics, then save your changes.
Use Unsubscribe in the email footer to stop receiving research updates. Unsubscribing stops further research emails; a historical subscriber record may remain in Kit. It does not by itself erase the subscription record.

Scope of this notice
This notice covers MSRA research email subscriptions. Website traffic analytics and product communications are separate from this research subscription service.
Language selection
An explicitly opened language URL and a saved choice in the language menu take priority over automatic selection. On an eligible English entry page without an explicit choice, we first use a supported browser language, without a country lookup. Only when none of your browser languages is supported may we request an approximate country from Country.is (https://country.is/) to choose an edition. If the lookup is unavailable or the country has no supported default, the page stays in English. The provider necessarily receives your IP address. The request omits credentials, cookies and the referrer, and includes no email address, page URL or query string. MSRA reads only the country code and does not store the returned IP address. A language-menu choice is saved in your browser until you clear site storage. Local previews do not perform the country lookup.
